A National Science Foundation Physics Frontier Center devoted to research at the frontiers of optical coherent and ultrafast science.

The FOCUS center includes 27 faculty at the University of Michigan and the University of Texas.  Our mission is to provide leadership in coherent control in quantum, ultrafast and high field physics.
