Light, Color, and Optics for High School Teachers

We are delighted to welcome all local teachers, and particularly the Detroit Metropolitan Area Physics Teachers (DMAPT) to a special meeting on Saturday, February 3rd. The meeting is also open to pre-service teachers.  The main theme of the meeting is the teaching of Optics in high school.  Teaching kits will be available for teachers to build and take to their schools.  We will also have cake to celebrate  DMAPT 50th Year Anniversary.  Teachers are invited to contribute any relevant "teaching Optics tip" that they wish to share with others.  Several tours of FOCUS research laboratories will be  included.

 Registration is FREE! but required.

FREE CEU Credit to the first 20 teachers to register and attend.
